So… what are you doing this summer???
As far as Houston Texans linebacker #59, DeMeco Ryans is doing more than just gearing up for the up coming season. Ryans is putting his own spin on staying hip and healthy. The DeMeco Ryans Foundation will be hosting their 5th Annual DeMeco Ryans Youth Football & Cheerleading Camp this Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the Bessemer City High School Stadium at 4950 Premiere Parkway in Bessemer, AL 35022 (Yes… in his hometown).
This FREE camp will teach youth ages 7-14 the fundamental skills of football and cheerleading taught by All-Pro Football Players and the Memphis Grizzlies Cheerleaders. Ryans as well as the Grizzlies Cheerleaders and other NFL players will be on hand signing autographs. And wait til you see the give-aways!
And while the kids are doing their hip & healthy thing on the field, the parents are invited to participate in a Financial Empowerment Camp. Now that’s whats up! … especially since everyone knows you can’t have wealth without good health – what a great combo! Kudos DRF!!! Please make sure to visit the DeMeco Ryans Foundation for more information.
So it looks like Ryans and his hundreds of campers will be well on their way to staying hip and healthy… how about you? Isn’t it time you take the hip and healthy pledge?
The DeMeco Ryans Foundation strives to motivate and empower underprivileged youth to become productive and responsible citizens. The foundation provides access to educational, recreational and healthy living initiatives designed to positively aid in the development of youth.
